RNA-dependent interactome allows network-based assignment of RNA-binding protein function
Mass spectrometry-based proteomics data was analyzed to characterize novel interactors for RNA-binding proteins. Network and systems biology strategies revealed concurrent interaction binding patterns and novel functionalities for such proteins.

Network-based assignment of RNA-binding protein function
In my main PhD project, I focused on RNA binding proteins (RBPs) and their role in RNA pathways. To better understand their functions, we selected RBPs based on their known involvement in these pathways and immunoprecipitated them. Through this approach, we were able to create a function-based network that allowed us to assign new functionalities to both known and novel RBPs. Our work on this project was recently presented at CSAMA 2022.

Characterization of the novel mitochondrial genome segregation factor TAP110 in Trypanosoma brucei
The protein of interest was investigated using mass spectrometry based quantitative proteomcis, under native and overexpressed conditions. The experimental method and following analysis were based on a label-free quantification approach.
